That “09” at the end of the model number tells you all you need to know — this was the very top of the Clavinova range when it launched. It’s got the premium amps, speakers, and, crucially, Yamaha’s beautiful wooden keys that make the playing experience feel wonderfully close to a real grand piano.
On the colour touchscreen you can see exactly what’s happening as you play. Start with Yamaha’s CFX Concert Grand sample, lower the virtual lid for a gentler tone, or swap to an upright for a totally different character. Tap a button and a full virtual band joins in, following your lead perfectly. It’s packed with built-in songs that display notation and lyrics on screen, and for learners, the CVP-809 can even light up the keys to guide you. Add in a 16-track recorder, and you’ve got an all-in-one piano, teacher, and recording studio.

If you’ve ever played a Genos before, you’ll know why they’ve got such a devoted following. The Genos 2 takes everything people loved about the original and turns it up a notch. Sitting at it for the first time, it’s hard not to get a bit carried away – the sounds are breathtaking, and there’s a polish to the whole experience that just makes you want to keep playing.

When Yamaha introduced the SX900, it was a big leap forward for the PSR range. The new touchscreen operating system made navigation quicker and clearer than ever, and the keyboard itself brought a surprising amount of flagship technology into a compact, more affordable package.
From upright pianos and vintage CP electrics to guitars with realistic articulations, the SX900 has a huge range of voices ready to play. You can layer sounds, mix them to taste, and explore a deep library of rhythms and styles. Pick a song from the built-in list, press a button, and the SX900 will set everything up — accompaniment style, tempo, and voices — so you can simply play. These items must be sent with a heavy-goods courier (typically APC or FedEx). On occasion, depending on which is fastest, we will drop-ship directly from Yamaha to your address via Dachser.

Smaller items, such as books, discs, etc, will be dispatched via Royal Mail second class.
After purchase, you can download the file either from the order confirmation page or the "Downloads" tab in "My Account".
If you have selected the option to receive a pre-loaded USB stick, then this will be dispatched via Royal Mail.
