Playing the Yamaha CLP-835 felt like a significant step up from the CLP-825.
The moment I started playing, I noticed the enhanced responsiveness and richness in sound.
It’s clear that Yamaha has put a lot of thought into making this model stand out in the CLP-800 series.
The GrandTouch-STM keyboard on the CLP-835 feels more refined compared to the CLP-825.
The synthetic ebony and ivory keytops provide a comfortable grip, and the overall touch response feels even closer to an acoustic grand piano.
The piano samples from the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial are reproduced with even greater fidelity, thanks to the improved VRM technology.
This results in a more detailed and nuanced sound, which is particularly noticeable in the lower and upper registers.
The CLP-835’s advanced speaker system creates a more immersive sound experience.
The speakers are designed to deliver a balanced and rich sound that envelops you, making it feel like you’re playing on a concert stage.
The built-in Bluetooth functionality allows you to stream music and use the Smart Pianist app for enhanced control over your piano’s features.
This app provides a user-friendly interface to access a wide range of sounds, settings, and even digital sheet music.
The CLP-835 offers robust recording capabilities, allowing you to capture your performances in both audio and MIDI formats.
This feature is invaluable for practice, composition, and sharing your music with others.
The CLP-835 is perfect for intermediate to advanced players who need a digital piano that offers a high level of realism and expressive capability.
It’s also a great choice for anyone who wants a bit more sophistication in their instrument, whether for home use or small performances.
If you’re looking for even more from your digital piano, the CLP-845 offers additional features such as the GrandTouch keyboard with wooden keys and a more advanced speaker system.
These enhancements provide an even richer playing experience, making it worth considering for serious pianists.
