I’m David from ePianos, and today we’re looking at one of my favourite extras you can add to your Yamaha Genos (Genos 1 or 2) or SX series keyboard — the Decade Series. This clever pack covers the 1950s right through to the noughties, but I’ve picked out the 1990s for today’s demo.

Once installed, the 1990s pack gives you ready-to-play registration banks for a whole collection of iconic tracks from the decade. Just press a couple of buttons, and your keyboard is instantly set up with authentic sounds and styles for each song.
In the video, I run through a few big hitters — think Britpop anthems like Wonderwall and sweeping ballads like My Heart Will Go On — plus plenty more that you’ll recognise within the first few notes.
Pulling up a song couldn’t be simpler — I just pressed the two Registration Bank buttons together, flipped to page two, and there were all the ’90s setups waiting for me. From there, you can press Menu > Registration Bank Info to see the track list on-screen, and even select directly from the touch display.
The sounds are spot-on: rich pianos, lush strings, those classic ’90s pop guitar tones, and even vocal effects where needed. It’s like having a professional arranger at your side, doing all the fiddly setup work for you so you can just sit down and play.
These registrations pull from all the styles and voices in the SX920 and Genos 2 — the best of the best from Yamaha’s arranger keyboards.

Smaller items, such as books, discs, etc, will be dispatched via Royal Mail second class.
After purchase, you can download the file either from the order confirmation page or the "Downloads" tab in "My Account".
If you have selected the option to receive a pre-loaded USB stick, then this will be dispatched via Royal Mail.

It typically takes 7-10 days for this item to arrive with us, whereupon we'll contact you to discuss the arrangement of delivery.
For any pre-orders, we will contact you as soon as the item arrives with us to schedule a delivery with you, and update you with an ETA.
