Sometimes, a new instrument comes along that feels less like a tool and more like a portal – a gateway into pure creativity. The Korg KRONOS 3 is one of those instruments.
To show just how cinematic and powerful this new flagship keyboard really is, we set a challenge for one of the best in the business: Luke Edwards, Korg’s top demonstrator, was invited to our showroom to compose original scores for four fictional Hollywood-style movie scenes.
We gave him nothing more than some evocative genre prompts, a few animated atmospheres (created with a little help from AI), and a voice actor reading the setup lines. The rest? Pure KRONOS magic.

This one gave us actual goosebumps — especially when Luke brought in a thunderous choral swell, straight out of The Hunt for Red October.
We’d discussed the project in advance – story beats, pacing, aesthetic – but what Luke came up with when he sat down to perform was completely fresh to us. Live. Emotional. Immersive.
It was genuinely moving to witness the synergy between artist, animation, and KRONOS – all playing off each other to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
Luke used the KRONOS 3’s nine powerful synthesiser engines, advanced zoning (assigning different sounds to different areas of the keyboard), and meticulous layering to bring each scene to life.
Whether it was the subtle shimmer of a triangle, a soaring string pad, or a full choral blast that felt lifted from a Cold War spy thriller – the KRONOS 3 handled it all effortlessly.
It didn’t feel like a demo. It felt like sitting in a film studio, watching a composer score a big-screen epic in real time.

Depending on which option is most appropriate, we will either contact you to discuss a bespoke ePianos delivery surcharge for goods we can’t package for a 3rd party courier, or otherwise dispatch goods via FedEx or APC.
If a courier is used, tracking will be provided by them directly, with a typical arrival time of 1-2 working days.

These items will be sent via courier (typically APC or FedEx). On occasion, depending on which is fastest, we will drop-ship directly from Yamaha to your address via UPS or Parcelforce.

Smaller items, such as books, discs, etc, will be dispatched via Royal Mail second class.
After purchase, you can download the file either from the order confirmation page or the "Downloads" tab in "My Account".
If you have selected the option to receive a pre-loaded USB stick, then this will be dispatched via Royal Mail.
We will contact you regarding any pre-ordered items, and let you know when they arrive so as to arrange delivery with you at a convenient time.
