Setting up and adjusting the microphone

Yamaha Genos Plus GenosTipsters Bonus Content USB
Yamaha SX900 / SX-900
SX Series

Setting up a mic on a Genos with minimal effort.

For Genos and SX Series

Step 1 – Plug in your mic into the correct input on the back of your keyboard. Mics typically use a “Jack’ input.

Step 2 – Once plugged in, press the “menu” button located to the right of the touch screen.

Step 3 – Insure that the “menu1” option is highlighted white as its the first page the option you need is located on.

Step 4 – Find the option called “Mic Setting” and give it a push.

Step 5 – In the top left of this menu you will see an on/ off button on the touch screen. This simply determents id the mic is active or not. If active, it will glow green; if not then it will be grey.

Step 6 – Once in this menu you’ll see a green fader towards the left of the screen. This is the master volume for the microphone you have plugged in. If you slide it up, it will increase the volume, down will decrease it.

Extra bits – From this same menu you can also change things such as the EQ or compression you have on the mic. This is useful to play about with during setups before a gig in order to get the mix down correct before playing!

Checkout Guide

After completing your billing address information, you are able to declare an alternative delivery address by selecting the checkbox entitled 'Deliver to a different address?'.

You are also able to nominate an alternative weekday to receive the delivery; if none is entered, we will simply dispatch for the next working day by default, if the order has been placed before 2 pm. Our courier does not deliver on weekends.

If your purchase is eligible for finance, you'll be able to calculate an illustration of cost by clicking on the 'Calculate Finance' button. Otherwise, the option for payment will default to 'Card Payment via Sagepay'.

Once you are ready to proceed, click the orange 'Pay Securely with Sagepay' button to be taken to our secure Sage/Opayo payment gateway.

Preorders will be processed when in stock – our team will notify you when the item is available, and arrange a convenient time for delivery with you.

Non-UK Payments

Payments made from cards registered with non-UK-based banks cannot be accepted by our payment provider, and will be automatically refunded if processed.

Please bear in mind that, due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, this could result in an unforeseen loss depending on the value of the original currency against GBP, which is completely beyond our control.

We’ve missed you! Book an in-store demonstration with us today.

Important Notes

In order to maximise ventilation, we are using our store foyer for demonstrations. The space restriction of our foyer area means that we are able to offer the demonstration of up to three upright digital pianos at any one time, so on booking, we will clarify with you which models you are interested in seeing and/or assist with your choices if necessary.

We are asking that, upon arrival, all customers (who are medically able to) wear a face mask for the duration of their visit. We will also provide sanitising hand gel which we will ask you to apply. The NHS Track and Trace scanning code will also be available.

Part-Ex / Sell

We offer competitive part-exchange values, and we also buy digital pianos, keyboards and organs for cash.
