Friday, 1st December, was a standout day at our ePianos store in Banbury. We hosted a special event for the launch of the Yamaha Genos 2, the latest and greatest in Yamaha’s line of arranger keyboards.
We were lucky to have Peter Baartmans, a master of arranger keyboards, showing off what the Genos 2 can do. His performance really highlighted the amazing sound and feel of this new keyboard, which is quickly becoming a favourite in the industry.

It was great to see so many of our customers – we had over 80 attendees! We all enjoyed some tea, coffee, and good conversation.
It’s been quite some time since we could host an event like this, what with Covid and all, so it was really nice to catch up with everyone.
Peter’s demonstration of the Genos 2 was something else. You could tell he was really carried away with the new sounds, and that speaks volumes because he plays top-notch keyboards all the time.
Get a taste of what the Yamaha Genos 2 can do by watching my video with Paul Thirkettle below.
He played a variety of music styles, from Andre Rieu to Whitney Houston, showing how versatile the Genos 2 is and how well it captures the sound of these famous artists.
People there mentioned how the Genos 2 sounded even more alive than the first Genos, especially with its new REVolution reverb feature.
It makes everything sound so clear and real.

We’re really thankful to Yamaha for putting on such a great show in our store. We’ve got a great relationship with them because we both love keyboards and want to help people enjoy playing them, along with providing top-notch customer service.
