Yamaha Clavinova CLP-875 Digital Piano

Yamaha CLP875 Clavinova Digital Piano

The Yamaha CLP875 is a Clavinova digital piano that blends the finest traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital innovation. Designed to provide the most realistic and expressive playing experience yet, it features Yamaha’s GrandTouch™ keyboard with wooden white keys and synthetic ebony and ivory keytops—delivering the tactile authenticity of a grand piano. The 88-key Linear Graded Hammers and escapement mechanism offer a nuanced response that mirrors the feel of an acoustic instrument.

With world-class sampled voices from the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos, enhanced by Yamaha’s Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), the CLP875 produces a rich, resonant sound that is stunningly lifelike. Whether you’re performing, practising, or composing, the powerful onboard speaker system ensures a fully immersive musical experience.

Elegant Cabinet Finishes

The Yamaha CLP875 is available in a choice of five beautiful cabinet finishes: Black Walnut, Rosewood, White, White Birch, and the elegant high-gloss Polished Ebony—ensuring it looks as refined as it sounds.

GrandTouch™ Keyboard: Realistic Feel and Precision

The GrandTouch keyboard on the Yamaha CLP875 recreates the subtle resistance and expressive nuance of a grand piano. With wooden white keys and moisture-absorbing keytops, the playing experience is natural and non-slip. Escapement delivers the subtle “click” of real acoustic keys, while the Linear Graded Hammers provide individual weighting for each of the 88 keys—heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble—for total authenticity.

Legendary Grand Piano Voices

The CLP875 comes loaded with the iconic voices of the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos. The CFX delivers brilliant projection and clarity, while the Bösendorfer Imperial offers a warmer, European tone—ideal for classical repertoire. With 38 instrument voices in total, and Dual Voice mode to layer any two sounds, the Yamaha CLP875 offers unmatched versatility for players of all levels.

Grand Expression Modelling

Yamaha’s Grand Expression Modelling technology responds to every nuance of your playing—from the gentlest pianissimo to the boldest fortissimo. It captures the interplay between hammers, strings, and pedals, simulating how an acoustic grand reacts to your touch. With this innovation, the CLP875 delivers a richer, more expressive musical experience.

GrandTouch Pedals and GP Response Damper Pedal

Built with professional-grade hardware, the Yamaha CLP875 features GrandTouch pedals that replicate the resistance and control of a concert grand. The GP Response Damper Pedal allows for precise half-pedalling and varied sustain, supporting advanced techniques and emotional depth in your playing.

Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM)

Thanks to Yamaha’s enhanced VRM technology, the CLP875 replicates the complex, sympathetic resonances of a real piano. When you play a note, it’s not just the string that vibrates—it’s the soundboard and surrounding harmonics too. VRM recreates this richness and spatial depth, resulting in a truly immersive piano sound.

A Grand Piano Experience—Even with Headphones

The CLP875 features binaural sampling of both the CFX and Bösendorfer pianos, delivering a natural, three-dimensional sound through headphones. You’ll feel as though you’re sitting at a real grand piano, even during late-night practice. Yamaha’s Stereophonic Optimizer further enhances this effect across other piano voices.

16-Track Song Recorder & USB Audio Recorder

With the Yamaha CLP875, you can record complex, multilayered performances thanks to the built-in 16-track recorder. Whether you’re composing, teaching, or practising, it’s a powerful tool to capture and refine your music. The USB Audio Recorder also lets you save performances straight to a USB stick—ideal for sharing, editing, or tracking progress.

Smart Pianist App Integration

Compatible with Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app, the CLP875 offers intuitive control via your smartphone or tablet. Adjust voices, access sheet music, and record your performances all from your device. You can even generate chord charts from your favourite songs, making practice and learning easier than ever.
