Authentic Grand Piano Touch with Wooden White Keys

The Yamaha CLP-845 brings together the authentic touch of Yamaha’s premium GrandTouch-S keyboard and the stunning sounds of two of the world’s finest concert grand pianos. Designed for pianists who want a more realistic playing experience, the CLP-845 introduces wooden white keys, a powerful four-speaker sound system and advanced piano modelling technology that responds naturally to every nuance of your performance.

Whether you’re practising, performing or simply playing for enjoyment, the CLP-845 delivers the sound, feel and expression that have made the Clavinova range one of the most respected names in digital pianos.

GrandTouch-S Keyboard with Wooden White Keys

At the heart of the CLP-845 is Yamaha’s GrandTouch-S keyboard action with wooden white keys, designed to provide a highly authentic grand piano feel.

The action offers excellent control across the full dynamic range, while synthetic ebony and ivory keytops provide a comfortable playing surface with improved grip. Escapement simulation and counterweights further enhance realism, helping the keyboard respond naturally to delicate and powerful playing alike.

Yamaha CFX & Bösendorfer Imperial

The CLP-845 features meticulously sampled versions of Yamaha’s flagship CFX concert grand and the legendary Bösendorfer Imperial.

The CFX delivers clarity, power and projection, while the Bösendorfer offers warmth, richness and character. Together they provide an inspiring range of tonal possibilities suitable for every style of music.

Alongside these flagship piano sounds, the CLP-845 includes 38 high-quality voices covering electric pianos, strings, organs, harpsichords and more.

Grand Expression Modeling & Virtual Resonance Modeling

Yamaha’s Grand Expression Modeling technology recreates the subtle tonal changes produced by an acoustic grand piano as a result of different playing techniques.

Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) further enhances realism by reproducing the complex sympathetic resonances generated by the strings, cabinet and soundboard, helping create a rich and immersive piano sound.

Powerful Four-Speaker Sound System

The CLP-845 features an advanced four-speaker sound system powered by Yamaha’s multi-amplifier design.

With dedicated amplifiers driving both the main and secondary speaker units, the CLP-845 produces impressive clarity, depth and projection throughout the room, closely recreating the spatial presence of an acoustic piano.

For headphone practice, Yamaha’s binaural sampling and Stereophonic Optimizer technologies help maintain a natural and spacious listening experience.

Modern Features for Today’s Pianist

Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI allow wireless connection to compatible devices, while USB Audio Recording makes it easy to capture performances directly to a USB flash drive.

The CLP-845 also integrates seamlessly with Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app, providing convenient access to voices, settings and learning features.
