There’s something about October that just feels right for piano playing – the darker evenings, the rainy days, that extra excuse to stay indoors and make music. It’s also been a packed month here at ePianos: we’ve been getting nostalgic, celebrating 30 years in business, testing out new Yamaha Apps and even squeezing in a bit of Radiohead.
If you’re not following us on TikTok yet, that’s where we post all sorts – behind-the-scenes moments, product demos, and the occasional story that reminds us just how far ePianos has come.
We started the month the way any self-respecting piano shop should – with some cosy autumnal vibes. This TikTok, posted on October 1st, paired warm, woody piano shots with gentle rainy-day sounds.
No talking, no fancy effects – just the sound and look of pianos that make you want to sit down, light a candle, and play something slow and beautiful.

Later in the month, we looked back at three decades of ePianos history – from those wild early days of playing keyboards in the middle of roundabouts (yes, really) to becoming the UK’s go-to specialists for digital pianos and keyboards.
The TikTok featured a clip from our longer anniversary interview with David and Chelsea, mixing light-hearted memories with a bit of nostalgia that long-time followers loved.

We also got very excited about Yamaha’s surprise announcement – their new Extrack app! It’s designed to make creating and sharing music even easier, whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been playing for years.
Chelsea jumped on TikTok to share the news first, giving a quick look at the app and promising we’ll be taking a deeper dive into it soon.

To close out October, Chris shared something close to his heart – a performance of Radiohead’s “Karma Police”, created entirely on the Korg Pa5X.
As Chris put it, “I’ve always had Radiohead running in the background of my musical life. Sitting at the Pa5X, a quick noodle turned into a full arrangement of Karma Police – which I had to share!”
What surprised him most was how naturally the Pa5X delivered that earthy, textured piano tone – especially in the lower register – and how quickly the drums and bass just fell into place. “An arranger keyboard shouldn’t block creativity; it should unlock it – and bless the Pa5X, it certainly did the job for me.”

**The Yamaha CSP Series, Yamaha CVP905 & CVP909, Yamaha CLP875, 885 & 895GP, and Yamaha NU1Xa are all sold on behalf of Yamaha and arrive with us on a per-order basis. Depending on which option is most appropriate, we will either contact you to discuss a bespoke ePianos delivery surcharge for goods we can’t package for a 3rd party courier, or otherwise dispatch goods via FedEx or APC.

Smaller items, such as books, discs, etc, will be dispatched via Royal Mail second class.
After purchase, you can download the file either from the order confirmation page or the "Downloads" tab in "My Account".
If you have selected the option to receive a pre-loaded USB stick, then this will be dispatched via Royal Mail.
We will contact you regarding any pre-ordered items, and let you know when they arrive so as to arrange delivery with you at a convenient time.

We are closed on all bank holidays, therefore the processing of sales and deliveries will be delayed.
For orders of any stock displaying a 7-10 day lead time, we will contact you as soon as the item arrives with us to schedule a delivery with you.
Occasionally, there may be availability issues with our suppliers, in which case we'll get in touch with you to see if you're happy to wait, or if you'd like to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
This is a special order "agency" item, and comes to us directly from Yamaha on a per-order basis.
It typically takes 7-10 days for this item to arrive with us, whereupon we'll contact you to discuss the arrangement of delivery.
For any pre-orders, we will contact you as soon as the item arrives with us to schedule a delivery with you, and update you with an ETA.
Occasionally, there may be availability issues with our suppliers, in which case we'll get in touch with you to see if you're happy to wait, or if you'd like to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
