This is the Lowrey Symphony Showcase — a truly cracking home organ with more bells, whistles, and clever gizmos than you can shake a music rest at. And believe me, we were spoilt for choice with what to demo on this one.
Now, I know I got a bit carried away at the start of the video — I think I said “super” about three times — but it really is that good. What makes this version special is that it’s had an official upgrade done by Lowrey UK. That means a serious boost under the bonnet — extra circuit boards, loads more voices, and an absolute treasure trove of registration presets to get stuck into.
And it looks the part too. The sleek wooden cover, the adjustable music rest with in-built lights… it’s smart, classy, and practical all in one. We even get three screens. Yes — three!

And then there’s the Genius section. Each voice category has one, unlocking hundreds of bonus voices you won’t find in the regular menus. It’s like a secret drawer of extra sounds — very handy when you want to freshen things up.
One of my favourite sounds is a lovely Mantovani-style string ensemble, complete with layered pianos — perfect for those big cinematic arrangements.
There’s also a wonderfully eerie female vocal patch, and so many other voices to discover, especially across the A/B/C sections. You can enable or disable rhythms with a button tap, and each registration comes alive in a different way depending on your setup.
Yes, you read that right. There are 7,500 full setups built in. Some are designed for rhythm play, others tailored to specific songs — and there are 882 song titles you can jump straight into.
Just hit “Song Setup,” scroll to the song you want (like You Are My Sunshine or Love Story), press the first chord — and you’re away.
It’s intuitive, quick, and takes the guesswork out of finding the right sound.
This organ doesn’t take itself too seriously either. If you fancy a round of applause after your performance — go on then, press the button. It’s all built in!
From cymbal effects to harmony settings that turn single notes into lush chords, it’s got personality in spades. The layout’s clear, the screen’s large, and everything feels logical.
There’s a USB port under the keyboard for loading additional voices and registrations, and even a CD drive for recording your own performances — a nice retro touch.

After purchase, you can download the file either from the order confirmation page or the "Downloads" tab in "My Account".
If you have selected the option to receive a pre-loaded USB stick, then this will be dispatched via Royal Mail.
