Yamaha has been renowned for producing exceptional musical instruments, and these new keyboards are no exception. The new CK series is an all-in-one keyboard designed for versatility and performance, suitable for professional stages, small clubs, and outdoor settings – even without a power supply (yes, you heard that right!).
Building on the success of their previous models, the CP88/CP73 and YC88/YC73, Yamaha’s CK88, and CK61 offer a new level of performance and sonic possibilities. These keyboards are designed to be intuitive and easy-to-use so that players can focus on their music rather than navigating complex menus.
The CK88 and CK61 keyboards feature a combination of the Yamaha CP Stage Piano and the YC Stage Keyboard, resulting in a unique ‘sonic palette’ that offers a range of sounds from piano and e-piano to organ, strings, brass, pad, and ethnic instruments. With an intuitive control system that includes dedicated controls for organs, synthesizers, and effects, these keyboards are versatile and suitable for a wide range of musical styles and settings.
The CK61 is ideal for musicians who prefer lightweight keys, a compact instrument, and portability. It offers an extensive range of ‘bread-and-butter’ sounds, organ controls, and synthesizer voices that can be used for a variety of musical applications. The intuitive controls for fast and effective sound processing, such as the knobs for Filter and Envelope, provide musicians with more creative freedom. Additionally, the comprehensive selection of effects ensures that musicians can achieve the perfect sound for their music.
The CK88, on the other hand, is perfect for piano-oriented players who need an 88-key, fully weighted-keyboard. It offers a range of characterful sounds from the piano, e-piano, organ, strings, brass, pad, and ethnic categories. The CK88 is designed to provide players with the ultimate piano feeling without the weight of a grand piano. With the built-in speakers, there’s no need for an external speaker system.
The CK series boasts high-quality sounds based on AWM2 and AWM (Organ Flutes), 128 voices of polyphony, three parts that are individually selectable, 363 voices from all categories, 51 effect types, Master-EQ, 160 Live Set memory slots, and USB MIDI/Audio Interface. The keyboards also come with Bluetooth Audio (Input only), Audio Input for external audio sources featuring Insert Effects, compatibility with Soundmondo and the Rec’n’Share App, and two keyboard variants: CK88 – 88-key GHS keyboard: matte black keytops and CK61 – 61-key FSB keyboard, initial touch.
The CK series offers intuitive operation, organ control panel with controls for the Organ Footage, and separate controls for Percussion and Vibrato/Chorus. Additionally, the keyboards have flexible Layer and Split combinations (up to two Split Points), dedicated controllers for Cutoff/Resonance and Envelope parameters and Effects, and easy transport. The CK88 weighs 13.1 kg, while the CK61 weighs 5.3 kg.
One of the most notable features of the CK series is the ability to operate on batteries. This feature makes it possible to use the keyboards in settings where there is no power supply, such as outdoor concerts or rehearsals. Additionally, the CK series is designed to be lightweight and easy to transport, making it ideal for musicians on the go.

Depending on which option is most appropriate, we will either contact you to discuss a bespoke ePianos delivery surcharge for goods we can’t package for a 3rd party courier, or otherwise dispatch goods via FedEx or APC.
If a courier is used, tracking will be provided by them directly, with a typical arrival time of 1-2 working days.

These items will be sent via courier (typically APC or FedEx). On occasion, depending on which is fastest, we will drop-ship directly from Yamaha to your address via UPS or Parcelforce.

Smaller items, such as books, discs, etc, will be dispatched via Royal Mail second class.
After purchase, you can download the file either from the order confirmation page or the "Downloads" tab in "My Account".
If you have selected the option to receive a pre-loaded USB stick, then this will be dispatched via Royal Mail.
We will contact you regarding any pre-ordered items, and let you know when they arrive so as to arrange delivery with you at a convenient time.
