How to move voices from your USB to internal memory

Yamaha Genos
Genos

Perfect for transferring registrations from friends, or even ePianos registrations you may have seen on our live stream videos!

For Genos

Step 1 – Make sure the usb is plugged in, and from the home screen, push the voice section (pictures of different instruments). Ensure ‘User’ is selected at the top of the screen and that the USB option is highlighted on the left hand side of the screen.
Step 2 – Find the content you wish to move over and press the option labeled ‘File’ towards the top right of the screen.
Step 3 – You will then need to push the option labeled ‘Copy’, then highlight all the files you would like to move, alternatively push select all to highlight everything on the usb. Then push ‘copy’ again.
Step 4 – Then select ‘user’ on the left hand side, and select ‘New folder’ and give it a memorable name in order to recall the files. Then select ‘Ok’.
Step 5 – Select the folder you just made and press the option “Copy here” to the top right hand side of the screen. This will move everything to the folder you just made.
When you want to come and find the voices later, click on one of the voices pictures and highlight the ‘user’ option! This is where your selected voices will be!
