How to change the polarity of the foot pedal

Yamaha Genos Plus GenosTipsters Bonus Content USB
Genos
Yamaha SX900 / SX-900
SX Series

Foot pedal not working how you want? This may help you change that!

For Genos and SX Series

Step 1 – Press the ‘Menu’ button located to the right hand side of the screen.

Step 2 – Insure that ‘Menu1’ is highlighted white in the top right hand side of the screen.

Step 3 – Press the option labeled ‘Assignable’.

Step 4 – Once in this menu you will see a second ‘Menu’ option in the top right hand side of the scree. This brings up the options to reverse the polarity of your foot pedals.

Step – In this drop down menu on the right hand side you will see two options labeled ‘Pedal1 Polarity’ and ‘Pedal2 Polarity’. These correspond with each foot pedal that is plugged in.

Next to each option there will be a ‘+’ and ‘-‘ symbol. The plus sign means the foot pedal works when being pushed in, and the minus means its operation when released. They are both opposites of each other.

To change the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ features, just push the pedal you want to change and you’ll see then symbol shift.

Checkout Guide

After completing your billing address information, you are able to declare an alternative delivery address by selecting the checkbox entitled 'Deliver to a different address?'.

You are also able to nominate an alternative weekday to receive the delivery; if none is entered, we will simply dispatch for the next working day by default, if the order has been placed before 2 pm. Our courier does not deliver on weekends.

If your purchase is eligible for finance, you'll be able to calculate an illustration of cost by clicking on the 'Calculate Finance' button. Otherwise, the option for payment will default to 'Card Payment via Sagepay'.

Once you are ready to proceed, click the orange 'Pay Securely with Sagepay' button to be taken to our secure Sage/Opayo payment gateway.

Preorders

Preorders will be processed when in stock – our team will notify you when the item is available, and arrange a convenient time for delivery with you.

Non-UK Payments

Payments made from cards registered with non-UK-based banks cannot be accepted by our payment provider, and will be automatically refunded if processed.

Please bear in mind that, due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, this could result in an unforeseen loss depending on the value of the original currency against GBP, which is completely beyond our control.

We’ve missed you! Book an in-store demonstration with us today.

Important Notes

In order to maximise ventilation, we are using our store foyer for demonstrations. The space restriction of our foyer area means that we are able to offer the demonstration of up to three upright digital pianos at any one time, so on booking, we will clarify with you which models you are interested in seeing and/or assist with your choices if necessary.

We are asking that, upon arrival, all customers (who are medically able to) wear a face mask for the duration of their visit. We will also provide sanitising hand gel which we will ask you to apply. The NHS Track and Trace scanning code will also be available.

Part-Ex / Sell

We offer competitive part-exchange values, and we also buy digital pianos, keyboards and organs for cash.
