As you might expect we are getting many questions about deliveries at the moment. People are wondering whether we are still able to deliver and how it all works in this strange time. The good news is that we are still able to offer UK wide delivery with very little disruption from normal. The only difference is, because staff and customer safety are absolutely crucial to us, we are employing full social-distancing measures as per government guidance.
We want to be absolutely clear about what this means for you. We explain in detail below and answer some frequently asked questions.
If you are ordering a BRAND NEW piano or keyboard:
As this item is already fully-boxed it will usually be delivered to you by our regular courier (TNT). They are still fully operational and adhere to full social-distancing measures. This means the driver will usually deliver the item to your doorstep, notify you, and leave without coming within 2m of you. They will not enter your home.
If you are ordering a PREOWNED piano, keyboard or organ:
If the item is small enough (e.g. a keyboard) then we will usually safely box it up and have it delivered to you via our secure courier (TNT) as described above. (see our answer on part-exchanges below)
If you have ordered a preowned piano or organ then it’s likely that the instrument is already constructed, though we can split it up and bubble wrap the sections. It can then be brought to you by one of our own delivery specialists in one of our vans. Our drivers are observing all social distancing guidelines and will deliver the item just to your driveway or doorstep and notify you for you to safely take it inside.
So, you need to decide if you are able to get the instrument from the doorstep into your home.

What if you have an item to part-exchange:
If you are trading in a small item (e.g. a keyboard) then we will either ask you to safely box it up for our courier to collect it from your home (we can supply you with a box if you don’t have one), or we might collect it with our own vehicle in which case you won’t need to box it up, you can simply place it outside your home for our driver to collect. (The driver will notify you when they’re outside).
If you are trading in a larger item (e.g. a piano or organ) then we will likely use our own vehicle to collect it. Again, we will need you to place it outside your home once our driver has arrived, (we can give you guidance on splitting it where necessary to make this easier) and then stay inside as we lift it into our vehicle.
Frequently asked questions
Can I ‘Click and Collect’ an item from your store?
Yes, you can collect an item from our store in Banbury. Our showroom is closed however our warehouse is in the same location and you can easily bring your vehicle directly to our collection point. We will arrange a specific time for you to collect and have your items waiting for you to place into your vehicle yourself.
What about part-exchanges? – If you are going down the Click and Collect route you will be able to bring your part exchange to us when collecting your new purchase.
Can I purchase an item and have it assembled in my home?
No, we cannot offer this service while the government ‘lockdown’ continues.
I am unable to do any lifting. Can I purchase an item and have it delivered once restrictions are lifted?
Yes, you are able to place an order (including part-exchange deals) and we will keep your instrument safely in our store, and then contact you as soon as government guidance allows us to safely deliver inside your home.
