Greetings, everyone!
This week, I’ve crafted a video specifically for owners of the Yamaha Genos, Genos 2, PSR-SX700, and PSR-SX900 models, aiming to deepen your understanding of your keyboard’s systems.
The homepage, being the first thing you see when you turn on your keyboard each day, seemed like the ideal starting point. After all, what better place to start than with the gateway to your instrument’s functionality?
In this detailed, 20-plus minute video, I provide an engaging tour of the homepage on the latest touchscreen operating system featured in these Yamaha models.
You can watch the video below.
The homepage serves as more than just a welcoming screen; it’s a comprehensive portal into the heart of your instrument, offering immediate insights and easy access to configurations at a glance.
My goal was to not only showcase the features that are immediately apparent but also to uncover some of the nuances and hidden gems that you may not have noticed before.
From homepage shortcuts to bar indicators, there are numerous details that could easily be overlooked if you don’t take the time to explore. I myself was amazed at the wealth of information available at our fingertips.

Thanks to the touchscreen interface, a vast array of information can be displayed, moving beyond the limitations of traditional buttons that might line the sides of the screen, reminiscent of a cashpoint machine.
The operating systems in these keyboard models are at the forefront of technology, designed with supreme user-friendliness in mind.
I wanted to begin with a comprehensive tour of the homescreen, setting the stage for more in-depth explorations in future Average Keyboard Guy videos.
Did you know that we’re down to our last few remaining preowned Yamaha Genos keyboards? These are available for only £1999, including free UK mainland delivery.
I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for all the support you’ve shown towards the videos we produce. Your encouragement truly means the world to us!
Happy playing, everyone!
